The home of retro computer music: chiptune, tracked music, synthwave and retro electro, streaming 24/7 straight from the demoscene.
📻 The station
ericade.radio is a 24/7 internet radio station dedicated to the demoscene and the music it has produced since the home computer revolution of the 1980s and 90s. We play tracked music composed on Protracker, Soundtracker, Fasttracker and Impulsetracker – tunes made on Amigas, Commodore 64s and retro PCs – alongside chiptune, synthwave and retro electro from artists old and new.
The station was originally launched in the 2000s, went quiet, and was re-launched in 2020. Since then we’ve grown a music catalog of thousands of tracks, built a listener community, and started Flashback, tracks from the past – our podcast where tracked music is combined with stories and commentary about Amiga, C64, retrocomputing and the demoscene.

🎙 The people behind the station
He got his Commodore 64 in 1989 and his first Amiga in 1990. A huge fan of tracker music and have had a long standing dream to create a radio show playing that kind of music. In 2020, that dream came true and in december Amiga Flashback started as a podcast. It was later renamed Flashback, tracks from the past and here we are.
He is also an orga for Swedish demo party Edison and a total retro nerd.
He was actually a listener from the time of the first ericade-station in the 00s. He came back as a listener in 2020, when the station restarted. Later he voluntered to build the new website of the station and also joined as a cohost of the podcast. He runs his own site called the Retro spirit.
